IT'S TIME

IT’S TIME.
There are times in life when we’re invited to look a little deeper at who we are… and who we’ve been taught to be.
This energetic period is one of those times.
A time to question what we’ve been carrying.
A time to let go of what no longer belongs to us.
A time to step into more of who we truly are.
And one belief I see holding so many people back is:
“I’m not good enough.”
Different people. Different lives. Different stories.
Yet underneath it all, the same belief.
Not good enough to start again.
Not good enough to follow the dream.
Not good enough to start the business.
Not good enough to have the relationship they truly desire.
Not good enough to simply be themselves.
And I understand it — because once upon a time, I believed it too.
But here’s something I’ve learned…
Sometimes the voice telling you you’re not good enough isn’t even your own.
It may have started with something someone said to you when you were young.
Something a parent said in anger.
Something a teacher made you believe.
Something a bully called you.
Something a partner repeatedly told you.
Or simply the messages you absorbed about who you were supposed to be.
Don’t cry.
Be a man.
You’re too sensitive.
You’re too much.
You’re not enough.
Words and experiences can become beliefs.
And we can carry those beliefs for years — sometimes decades — until we no longer even remember where they came from.
Somebody else’s words don’t have to become your lifelong truth.
You are allowed to put down beliefs about yourself that were handed to you by somebody else.
Sometimes the work is a little like peeling an onion.
Layer by layer, we begin removing the conditioning.
The expectations.
The labels.
The old hurts.
The need for approval.
The person we thought we should be.
Until eventually, underneath all those layers, we meet ourselves again.
Not a new you.
Not a better you.
The REAL YOU.
The person who wants to start again.
Follow the dream.
Build the business.
Experience the beautiful relationship.
Speak up.
Take the chance.
Live differently.
Perhaps the permission you’ve been waiting for doesn’t need to come from anybody else.
Give it to yourself.
Peel away the layers.
Question the old beliefs.
Decide what you will and won’t accept.
Create boundaries that honour who you are.
Stop shrinking yourself to fit someone else’s expectations.
Give yourself permission to be who you truly are.
And when you discover more of that person, don’t apologise for it.
Embrace ALL of who you are.
Because you were never meant to spend your life trying to prove that you’re good enough.
You already are. ❤️
IT’S TIME TO TRULY OWN IT.
